03: Two Thousand Twenty
Miscellaneous sketches, discarded pieces of project, and little things noticed over time
The 2020 edition of what has become an annual calendar project. An unofficial “publishing” of all sorts of little things that didn’t make it into a project, or what I was kicking around over and over again in a sketch book. No real meaning or function other than joy. The making of it becomes a sort of creative-emotional inventory of things made, collected, completed, jettisoned, experimented, and obsessed over during the last year (or so). It becomes a collection of past work, decorating the days and months of the year to come. A tool that reflects time in a few different ways.
